Paintball
This past Saturday the Strands hosted a Paintball war at there house, it was a blast! Thank you very much Strands! We played a couple of different scenarios, we played capture the flag, Mister President, Revolutionary war, where both teams line up opposite of each other and fire at the command of the captain and repeat until one team is eliminated, and a thirty minute war, where if you are hit you go back to your base and put a check by your name and then join the war again, whichever team has the most points loses. There were 14 of us playing. Here are some pictures of the from the war.

Raccoons
Yesterday Josiah was mowing the lawn and while he stopped to adjust his headphones he heard some unable-to-be-spelled sounds right next to him. He looked down and there were two baby raccoons walking on the driveway! So he got Joanna and I, and I got some gloves on and went out and tried to catch them. Well, they tried to get away by climbing up into the bottom of Jonathan 's truck, but eventually I got one out from behind a piece of the frame. Then we tied a rope around its neck like a leash and shoed it to Caroline and William who were spending the day at our house.
That night we let it go. Here are some pictures of it.

Back from New York
Last Wednesday Josh, Luke, Ethan, Grant, and I went to NY to record the New York Home School conference. The conference went very well. On Sunday morning we got back from NY at 7:00am, we drove through the night and we all decided to not sleep and try to stay up at least 24 hours. But church was at 10:30 so we stayed up even longer, it was extremely hard to stay awake the rest of the day. I guess next time I will try to get some sleep in the car. :-)
